What to do if your payment method has been declined


Your payment method might have been declined due to several reasons such as: 

  

  • Lack of available funds 

  • Expired card 

  • Using a prepaid card 

  • Your bank blocked the payment for security reasons 

  • The country that issued the card is different from the one you're using for signing up 

  • The CVV was not entered correctly 

 

Available funds 

Before attempting to update your payment method again, kindly check if your card has enough funds and if it is still valid. 

  

Retry payment in private browsing mode  

You could also try using a different browser or opening your current browser in incognito mode. Here are the instructions for using Incognito mode in the browsers we support: 

  

  

How many times will you try to charge me? 

In case your plan renewal doesn't go through, we will try charging your card every day for three straight days and then every other day after that for up to 27 days or maximum of 15 attempts. If payment for your subscription fails after multiple attempts, your plan will be automatically cancelled. 
 
Please note, cancelling will also result in losing the Half-Price for Life offer you had.
